So what is the easiest way to remove the background from an image?
If I have a penny for each time I’ve needed to remove the background from an image a client has supplied I’d have a few. In fact, this is actually a viable business model, as there are myriad online services applying this model of charging per image to automatically remove the background. However, more importantly, and the point of the post, is finding the best free ones.
Here’s my list of the top 7 best free background remover tools
- retoucher.online
paid, but bulk upload and not expensive

Conclusion
There’s not much to choose between the top 5 as they are all great. For me Retoucher, even though it’s not free, just edges due to the low price for great images that can be bulk uploaded. But Photoroom and Kapwing are epic, too.
